International Hummus Day
International Hummus Day is a day for all hummus lovers to unite and enjoy their favorite snack. Hummus is a traditional Middle Eastern dish compromised of cooked chickpeas, tahini, and other flavorings and spices. This holiday was created by Ben Lang, with the goal of creating “a holiday around a food that could bring people together from around the world.” The day was first celebrated in 2012.
