World Teacher’s Day
World Teacher’s Day is similar to Teacher Appreciation Day, which is celebrated on May 8th. A day has been set aside throughout the world to spread awareness of the important role that teachers play in our children’s lives. This is a day dedicated to showing moral support and voice words of appreciation to our favorite teachers. This is a worldwide event launched by the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) in 1994.
